The Digital Wellness Center is part of the Next Nature Museum.
The Digital Wellness Center helps us understand that technology is not the enemy, but can be a tool for mental peace and personal growth. On average, people check their phones 150 times a day and send around 110 messages a day. Almost half of smartphone users even say they cannot live without their device.
These figures underline how deeply technology is intertwined with our daily lives and emphasize the importance of consciously dealing with this digital reality. Movements such as the Right to be Offline and discussions about smartphone use in schools show that digital well-being is becoming an increasingly relevant topic in our society.
Instead of completely disconnecting, the Digital Wellness Center challenges visitors to explore how technology can actually contribute to their well-being. The exhibition offers a combination of interactive installations and soothing environments to understand and deal with digital overload.
Experience a ‘Breathing Session' by artist Geoffrey Lillemon, an artistic meditation session where body and environment merge through sound, visuals, space, and light.
This digital inspiration session promotes relaxation of the mind, reduces stress, and encourages self-development, focus, and new ideas.
"Ultimately, it’s about how you choose to integrate digital technology into your life. Recognizing and actively managing your complex relationship with technology is essential.
It’s no longer just about mastering a tool or platform but understanding the broader impact on your mental space and perception of time."
